Amparo means shelter: a knit that moves like water stirred by the wind, tied at the waist, at the front or on the side. In the blue of Air, it is the lightness you carry with you.

  • Openwork knit
  • Open at the sides
  • Tie it your way
  • Sleeveless openwork knit vest
  • Ribbed crew neck and hem
  • Open at the sides: front and back meet only at the shoulders
  • Closes with a knitted tie, to knot at the waist at the front, back or side
  • Below-the-hip length
  • Length 62 cm from the shoulder (size S/M)

You decide where the knot goes: front, back or side. Tied tight it defines the waist, tied loosely it lets the knit fall straight. In the photos it is worn over the Sibel shirt and the Rocío skirt.

A knit that moves like nature. Small holes, and above each one a raised stitch: staggered rows chasing each other diagonally, like the ripples the wind leaves on water. No line is rigid, light glides over the relief and passes through the holes, and the knit changes with every move you make.

In light blue, it is the sky reflected on rippling water.

Amparo is a Spanish name, and it means shelter: the place where you feel safe.

We imagined it as an embrace. It opens, wraps around you, closes with a knot, and the knot is yours: at the front, at the back or on the side, tight or loose.

For I Quattro Elementi it comes in two colours: Fire, the burgundy of passion, and Air, the blue of the sky.

100% cotton.

Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, inside out. Do not wring. Dry flat, reshaping the knit. Steam iron inside out, without flattening the raised pattern.

Amparo is imagined in Paris by Micaela, and its knit is carefully designed and engineered in Milan by Simona, our head of knitwear.

It is made in Indonesia, in the same family-run knitwear workshop as our Didi dresses, overseen by Andrew and Camila.
