Rocío Crema embroidered midi skirt

With the Sibel shirt it is our Crema set. With a vest like Amparo and a pair of boots, it is ready for winter.

Charlotte (1.77 m) and Manar (1.79 m) wear a size S.

Large flowers bloom on the flounce. Each one is embroidered in several threads, white and peach pink, all close to the colour of the fabric: tone-on-tone embroidery that leaves the skirt cream from afar and turns it into a garden up close.

Elena Toscano designed them. The flounce travels to Ibu Dedek's atelier as a flat piece, is embroidered by hand, flower after flower, and returns to Italy, where the skirt is sewn. Embroidering one takes a day.

We worked on it for three collections. We were looking for a skirt with the simple air of the countryside that kept the romance of Pre-Raphaelite paintings: Rocío is that skirt.

In Spanish its name means dew: the drops that linger on flowers in the morning, which you only see up close. Its embroidery is just like that.

It was born together with Sibel: same fabric, same hand embroidery, same journey between Bali and Italy. Together they make a set; on its own, Rocío goes with all our vests.

100% cotton poplin.

Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, inside out. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry. Iron at a medium temperature, inside out, without crushing the embroidery.

Rocío is designed in Paris by Micaela. The embroidery is designed in Milan by the artist Elena Toscano and done by hand in Ibu Dedek's atelier, among the rice fields, a few steps from the ocean.

The skirt is made in Ferrara, in Francesca's atelier, where Cristina follows the project from pattern to finished piece, together with Simona, head of Ika Jane production in Italy.
