The Fuoco print has the colours of an ember: dark at the top, like slowly burning wood, and brighter and brighter towards the bottom, up to the red and orange of the flame. It is the fire that drives us, the fire of ideas that keep us awake and of the things we love to do: passion.

On the trousers, the ember ignites as it descends: from burgundy at the waist to red and orange at the hem.

The sky changes colour in a few minutes, and every time we wish we could hold on to it. That is where our gradients come from: a sunset, a dawn, a forest, turned into something to wear and keep forever. Leto was born with them, in 2023, for the Dreaming Mermaids collection.

In the atelier we simply call them our favourite trousers, and the reason is the elastic waist: it adapts to every body and follows it without squeezing. They are the first thing to go in the suitcase, but also the pair that comes with you every day, at the office or out to dinner: once you put them on, you never take them off.

Over the years they have changed colour, but never shape. For I Quattro Elementi they light up in the colours of fire.

Their journey is all Italian: Elena's design in Milan, the printing near Como, the sewing in Francesca's atelier in Ferrara.

Leto is designed in Paris by Micaela. The Fuoco print is designed in Milan by the artist Elena Toscano and printed in the Como area.

The trousers are made in Ferrara, in Francesca's atelier, where Cristina follows the project from pattern to finished piece, together with Simona, head of Ika Jane production in Italy. Made in Italy, from the first sketch to the last stitch.
